One of Marquelle's most cherished life experiences, a journey that led him from being a roommate to becoming an integral member of the renowned Philadelphia band "The Strange Heat." This chapter was marked by a remarkable transformation, as Marquelle transitioned from sharing living space to sharing the stage, singing lead on some songs, playing lead trumpet, and providing backup on the keyboard. His musical odyssey with "The Strange Heat" led him to some of the most iconic stages in Philadelphia and beyond. From the illustrious "Theater of the Living Arts" (TLA) to the iconic "World Cafe Live," and even to the vibrant South Street Festival, Marquelle's talent and dedication graced these venues, leaving an indelible mark on the music scene. Marquelle's deep connection with fellow band member and friend, Isaac Windle, served as a catalyst for further creative endeavors. Together, they ventured into the realm of DJing, establishing a successful business that set wedding parties and events ablaze with rhythm and energy. Their performances, including those at the beloved "The Grape Room" in Manayunk, PA, became defining moments, infusing gatherings with the kind of magic that transcends boundaries.  This collaboration between Marquelle and Isaac, as the dynamic DJ Duo, has continued to fuel Marquelle's passion. Their collective dedication to igniting joy through music and their genuine camaraderie shines through in every beat they craft and every note they play. Their commitment to fostering memorable experiences continues to drive Marquelle, inspiring him to keep the spirit of music alive in all its forms.
